Insights 05-03-11

This blog is yet another way, we here at Taylor Ridge Estates, hope to help our members, families, and friends keep in touch with the happenings that go on here at "the ridge".

So, welcome to the first installment!

Today was a relatively quiet day. We had a large group gather for Fitness this morning, and we enjoyed our time doing that. I put on a CD of Celtic music for a quiet background noise, and led those gathered through a series of stretches. The stretches are to help us all stay as limber as we can. I followed this by having folks choose a number from 1-101 and then reading the corresponding excerpt from the book: 101 Ways to Find God's Purpose in Your Life.

I have a series of 7 different books all containing 101 ways to better our lives on a variety of subjects. We have been using these in our Fitness classes as food for thought and as a way to strengthen our inner selves.

This afternoon, Donna Smithson, a local lady, came in to lead the Auxiliary Bingo. Everyone looks forward to her Bingo time!

Other things done today are or will be: re-decorating the tree by the front door for May, and changing the decorations on the dining room tables. I sure do hope everyone enjoys my choice of wildflowers/wild life as the theme for this month. :)

That being said, I will say good bye for now.

Talk to you all again soon!
